Terms
Terms of Service
Effective April 14, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Instafront, the service that generates and maintains a website from an Instagram Business or Creator account. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Instafront is operated by [Legal Entity Name], registered at [Registered Address] ("Instafront," "we," "us"). You are "you" or the "Customer."
1. The service
Instafront generates a multi-page website from the public content of your connected Instagram Business or Creator account, keeps that site in sync with your Instagram activity, and hosts it at a subdomain we provide or, on the Pro tier, at a domain you own. The full scope is described on our marketing site and may change over time. We'll tell you about material changes before they take effect.
2. Eligibility & account
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher).
- You must have the right to connect the Instagram account you connect.
- You agree to keep your login credentials secure and to notify us if they're compromised.
- One person, one account. Multiple sites per account may come later; they aren't in scope today.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you post to Instagram and everything that flows from Instagram through Instafront onto your generated site. You grant us a narrow, revocable licence to store, display, transform (resize, re-encode), and publish your content solely as needed to operate the service for you.
Your rights to your Instagram content remain governed by Instagram's terms. If those rights end, ours end at the same time.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Instafront to host content that is illegal where you live or where your site is served.
- Connect an Instagram account you don't have the right to connect.
- Reverse-engineer the service to build a competing one.
- Run security testing against our production systems without written permission.
- Abuse APIs or background jobs in a way that meaningfully degrades service for other customers.
We may suspend accounts that violate this section. For serious violations we may terminate immediately and without refund.
5. Trial, billing, and cancellation
- Trial. A 14-day trial of the full product. No card is required to start. At the end of the trial, if you've added a card, your chosen plan activates; if you haven't, your site enters a 30-day sunset window before it comes down.
- Plans. Basic ($3/month or $30/year) gives you a subdomain. Pro ($7/month or $70/year) gives you a custom domain. Annual plans are pay-for-10, effectively a 17% discount.
- Payment. Billing is handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo handles sales tax, VAT, and chargebacks on our behalf. Card data never touches our servers.
- Upgrades, downgrades. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period.
- Failed payments. Dodo retries three times over seven days. Your site stays live during that grace window. If all retries fail, the account enters the sunset window described above.
- Cancellation. You can cancel any time from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds by default.
- Price changes. We'll email active customers at least 30 days before any price increase affects your plan.
6. Availability & support
We target 99.5% uptime month to month and work hard to hit it, but we don't promise it contractually during MVP. If the service is meaningfully degraded for an extended period we'll make it right, case by case. Support is offered by email; we aim to respond within one business day.
7. Third-party services
Instafront depends on third-party services to operate. Instagram / Meta above all. If Meta changes its APIs, policies, or pricing in a way that affects Instafront, your experience may change. We'll communicate material changes as soon as we can.
8. Disclaimers
Instafront is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose beyond what's described on our marketing site. Generated sites reflect what you posted to Instagram; you're responsible for the accuracy of that content.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Instafront in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Termination
You may terminate at any time. We may terminate if you materially breach these Terms, if we're required to by law, or if we wind down the service (we'd give you at least 60 days' notice and a clean data export). On termination, the deletion and retention rules in our Privacy Policy apply.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the courts sitting in [Jurisdiction], except where mandatory consumer law gives you a more favourable venue.
12. Changes
Material changes are emailed to active account holders at least 14 days before taking effect. Non-material changes may take effect immediately on posting, with the effective date updated.
